We have a unique and special inquiry program here at Como Lake. Students are given general lessons on inquiry-based skills, and then offered time and resources to explore their personal passions. We have three four-week segments throughout the year where all of the students in the school spend the afternoon working on individual projects around the school, or perhaps off-site for things like fishing, skiing/snowboarding, mountain biking, gymnastics, hockey, skateboarding/scootering and more. These whole-school events are called “Genius Hour” and we work hard to provide as many opportunities for students as possible.
